The energy of 'Bridge' is expansive and freeing, but grounded. It wants to steady us and help us feel empowered to cope with change. I'd like to tell you its story.
I glimpsed the bridge below the road from Chile, the Paso Los Libertadores, between Mendoza (Argentina) and Los Andes (Chile). My first time crossing the Andes on 2 wheels. Everything was vast. Even me - I felt my soul expand and race out on the wind. In summer, the widest valley rivers had little water, but all along their ways were remnants of bridges lost to the past. Flash floods. We stopped to stare at this one. It was of steel, and concrete posts beneath. But I saw that in time it would also go. And in its place would come something new.
My intention is that 'Bridge' brings a sense of endless possibility. SAL

SALchemy print sustainability
SALchemy prints care for the environment, in three ways:
1. The prints travel direct to you from theprintspace. Theprintspace is the UK’s only Fine Art & Photo printing service that is completely carbon neutral; recyclable packaging envelopes and cardboard stiffeners, paper tape made from 100% recycled fibres, and biodegradable bubble wrap all make a difference.
2. Hahnemühle Bamboo paper is the world’s first Fine Art inkjet paper made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton for resource-saving paper production. It doesn't contain optical brighteners, and is acid- and lignin-free.
3. A tree will be planted for each print sold. To achieve this, SALchemy.uk partners with OneTreePlanted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. SALchemy-funded trees will be planted in the Andes.
